Northern Territory
NT is located in the central and central northern regions of Australia and is the 11th largest country subdivision in the world.

The central desert called the ‘Red Centre’ is what the Northern Territory is known for. The main features here are rugged mountain ranges and huge rocks rising from the desert plains. The most famous geological feature in this region is Uluru.

Darwin, the capital of Northern Territory, was established in 1869. Darwin was established as a port and centre for the cattle industry. Tourism and mineral wealth has become more vital, and Darwin has been reinvented as a gateway to Asia.
